Tahlequah, OK

Event will be held at the Committal Shelter (Pavillion) and is hosted by the Cherokee County Veterans Council.

Decorations should be collected on Tuesday May 27th

For more information about this event, please call American Legion: 918-431-1464

The Cherokee County GOP supports and honors our local veterans and we will NEVER forget those who gave all.

Please remember, there are three holidays each year that are in honor of our heroes who serve/served. Here are the differences:

Veteran’s Day is to thank those who are living who have served.

Memorial Day is a time for remembrance and “mourning” of those who gave the ultimate sacrifice.

Armed Forces Day is a time to honor those who are currently serving our country in the military.

Thank our military and veterans EVERY day, but please remember the difference that makes THIS holiday different from the others.

Reminder:

Cherokee County GOP will not meet again until September, but keep your eyes on the calendar to keep up to date with any events or activities that you might want to know about.
